Faith and Unbelief - John 7:25-36

Jesus continues teaching in a dialog with people in the temple and he is confronting questions about his authority, an evidence of unbelief. Jesus tells the truth, that he has come from God the Father, his relationship with the truth and the Father. He exposes the unbelief of the people who reject him. The conflict has escalated now to the point that the Pharisees sent officers to arrest Jesus, but unsuccessfully because it was not time for that. Jesus also teaches abut his ascension as he says that in a little while he will be gone, but the people did not understand. And Jesu will be actively interceding for his people with the Father. And Jesus will return to gather his people.
