During the feast of booths, in which the Israelites live in tents for a week, Jesus was encouraged by his unbelieving brothers in Galilee to go to Jerusalem. Jesus arrived late from Galilee to the feast in Judea and began to teach at the temple again with evident authority. Jesus taught that his authority was from his Father and that His teaching was true, and that his work of healing was right. The truth taught by Jesus was rejected by the crowd of Jews, as was the right judgment Jesus promulgated.
