After Jesus healed the invalid, he taught. He said the Lord always works managing his creation and never takes a break from loving and caring for His creation. Likewise we as image-bearers also do works of necessity and mercy and glorifying God on every day including the Sabbath. Jesus teaches he only does what the Father is doing, acting also in concert with the Holy Spirit to bring life to the dead and to receive honor from all and to give eternal life to all who hear and believe in Christ.
