The Christian Home ~ Colossians 3:18-4:1
Today John Paul reviews a list that the Apostle Paul gives of 3 pairs who are under the authority of Christ: 1) Husbands and Wives 2) Parents and Children 3) Servants and Masters. In all these scenarios we are under Christ’s authority. The church is a witness to the watching world. The home is a witness also. We are to live for Christ in the home. Our home is not our castle or hold out. There are no rooms we can keep Christ out of. Christ is to rule over all. We are to serve one another from the heart in the church and in our own homes with thankfulness in our hearts for how much we have been forgiven. If you have given your life to Jesus, give your home to Him as well. Ultimately we are serving the Lord, not men!
