Paul begins his beautiful explanation of the gospel by telling us the hard truth about sin. Apart from God's grace in Jesus, all mankind is dead in sin, and by nature are children of wrath. However, God comes to us who are dead in sin and makes us alive together with Jesus, He saves us by grace!
