Luke 2:39-52 is the only part of the biblical record that tells us about the life of Jesus between his infancy and his public ministry as an adult. It gives us valuable insight into the life of Jesus as He is growing and developing in preparation for His offering Himself as the perfect sacrifice to save His people from their sins.
