Christ in You - The Hope of Glory - Colossians 1:24-29
If you are a Christian, a believer, you have Christ in you, and that is the hope of glory. Paul rejoices in suffering, not because he enjoys it, but because of the good effects produced by suffering - the gospel is worth suffering for. Christ iived a pattern for us of suffering followed by glory. And with Christ indwelling in us is having the presence of Christ with us, and our suffering will be followed by glory. Our hope is not earthly hope, but our treasure and our hope are beyond the grave in heaven and in glory.
