CloseIn Genesis 38 we see Judah's downward spiral as he leaves his family to pursue life with the Canaanites. In the midst of his sin, we see God's grace shining through his daughter in law Tamar. God uses her to convict Judah of his sin, and through her and her child Perez we are given Boaz, King David, and ultimately our Lord Jesus Christ! Although this is a difficult chapter for us to read, it is an extraordinary picture of God's sovereign grace.
