Resting in Peace ~ John 14:27-31
From a global perspective the world we live in is at the brink of war. Scripture states that there will be wars and rumors of wars until the end. So, is the peace our Lord gave during biblical times still valid for us today? Though we may not always feel it, as Christians we can have freedom from a troubled heart, freedom from fear, freedom from despair, freedom from drowning in our own circumstances. We don't have to wait to enter into eternal rest. We can rest in peace today!
