Our Suffering and God's Mercy - Psalm 6
Suffering is a part of life in a sin-cursed world. As we see David's great suffering in Psalm 6, we see God's love in being mindful of his pain and preserving him through it. More importantly we are pointed to Jesus, who suffered the torment of hell so that we will never experience the Father's wrath for our sin.
