Adoption With a Twist
In Genesis 48, Israel takes Manasseh and Ephraim from Joseph and adopts them as his own sons. He does this to give to his beloved son Joseph a double portion in his inheritance. In this beautiful adoption ceremony we see that beauty of our own adoption as children of the living God in Jesus Christ.
