Fruitful Disciples ~ John 15:1-8
A gardener tends to the vines, clearing out the dead wood to make for a fruitful harvest. The things we are called to do are sometimes painful, but He never calls us to do anything that won't make us more like Him. He knows what is good for us. Fruit is for the benefit of the owner of the vineyard, not the individual branches. The closer we walk with Christ, the more fruit we bear. In Him is life and His life is the light of man.
