Jesus continued teaching in Jerusalem a few days before his death and resurrection, and Gentiles wished to see Jesus. Jesus taught that we Christians should value and keep our minds on eternal life, and that our focus should be on following Jesus and serving Him. A result of that love, following and serving Christ, is that God the Father will honor his followers.
