Completing the Look ~ Colossians 3:12-17
In Colossians 3:5-11 Paul said to put off our old clothes, or nature; to throw it all away. In today's passage, Paul tells of the graces we are to put on as fruits of our obedience to Him. It's sometimes painful to to give up the comfort of our old ways of living, but we must do so. We have been born again & raised with Christ, bought by His blood. As Christians we are now ambassadors for Christ representing Him in word and deed. John Paul encourages us to live in the name of Jesus Christ together as His body in worshipful thanksgiving, clothed in His graces.
