Jesus's love for Lazarus and his sisters is clear in this passage, and it is true that His love for you is also clear. Jesus promised Martha that she would see God's glory if she believes and she did see it as Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead. Lazarus was raised by the power of the word of Jesus, himself the Word of God. The purpose of this miracle is to strengthen our faith and validate the revelation of Christ.
