Joseph's Dream Job

Genesis

In Genesis 40-41 we see God's extraordinary providence at work in the life of Joseph as he is exalted from the prison to the palace. Joseph is placed in the position of a prophet, explaining to Pharaoh the meaning of the dreams God has given him. In being exalted to a position of great power and authority he is able to serve the Lord and provide for his people. In Joseph, we are pointed forward to Jesus, the bread of life who brings eternal salvation to His people.
